For those that prefer charted work, we have expanded our inventory to include cross stitch charts and kits from your favorite designers.  Fabric may be ordered and purchased by the square inch, and our selection is growing weekly.  We have the complete color card of both Weeks Dye Works and the Gentle Art overdyed floss and will soon be carrying the overdyed floss from Threadworx.  Stop by...new charts, fabrics and fibers arrive all the time, and we now offer Just Cross Stitch magazine!

Knitters/Crocheters too can choose from an array of yarns, patterns and excellent needle selections to complete a variety of fun projects.  Our yarn department has undergone a complete overhaul since the spring of 2009 boasting great color selection in yarns by Dream in Color, Mission Falls, Kraemer, Cascade, Knit One Crochet Too, Berroco, Fiber Trends, Universal, and the local dye pots of Chickeninthewoods.

Happy Summer!

Well it's hot and rainy; there's disaster aplenty in our fair land.....we need a happy place!  The shop is a wonderful, cool coccoon of stitching delights.  Stop by and surround yourself with friends and fiber! 

We've just returned from the annual needlearts market in Columbus, Ohio where some very serious shopping took place.  This year I concentrated on needlepoint purchases.  The canvases and great new ideas for their display should start to arrive within the next few weeks so hold on to your hats because there are SO many new and BEAUTIFUL, fun things to stitch. 

The fashion show of knitwear gave us a peek into the trends for the upcoming knit/crochet season.  I picked up some fun yarns to add a little kick to your projects, and have started scheduling visits from our great yarn reps to gear up for a new year of stitching.

I took a class on everything website.  There are two very important things I learned there: 1) my website.....not so great  2) I definately don't want to handle it myself.  So, hopefully in the not-so-distant future, this site will be new and greatly improved!
